Man in Custody for Halifax Break and Enter

Halifax Police say a 47-year-old man has been arrested after a dog alerted its owner to someone breaking into their home. Police say they responded to a break and enter call on Stanford Street around 11am Friday morning. A tenant of the residence had been woken up by her dog’s barking and found a man she recognized in her kitchen. The suspect fled but was located a short time later. 47-year-old Craig Allan Boutilier has been charged with one count of Break and Enter and remains in Police custody.
