Eight NS companies awarded tenders for DGH expansion, renovation

Eight Nova Scotia companies have been awarded contracts for the Dartmouth General Hospital expansion and renovation.  Government issued the contracts today, April 28th, as part of the QEII redevelopment project.  The contracts will provide for site services, excavation, underground services, foundations and structural concrete for the new addition and a new emergency generator building.  The total cost of these tenders is about $12 million. Construction will begin in early May.
