The Human Rights Commission has agreed to work with the Board of Police Commissioners on street checks.
The Commission’s CEO Christine Hanson told CBC, instead of holding a formal inquiry, the commission has decided to work with the municipality and police to correct the problem. It has agreed to hire an independent third party to review the data.
