A spate of accidents with Canada Geese has prompted the Transportation Department to remove 79 Goose eggs from inside the Dieppe Traffic Circle recently.
The eggs were removed from nests within the traffic circle last week after there were a number of accidents caused by people braking unexpectedly to avoid hitting the geese wandering across the busy road.
The pond and land inside the traffic circle are a government protected wetland but the nesting population has exploded in recent years causing traffic problems..
