The Premier hasn’t called the election yet…but the NDP isn’t waiting for him.
The premier is expected to call the election very soon…possibly within days.
NDP Leader Gary Burrill spoke to about 300 supporters at a rally in Dartmouth calling the McNeil Government morally deficient because it has put balancing the books ahead of people like teachers and healthcare workers. Burrill called for a $15 per hour minimum wage, caps on class sizes from primary all the way to grade 12. He also wants to make community colleges free.
