Irving wins tariff fight

The U-S Commerce Department is giving the Irving Paper Mill a break on tariffs.

It has reduced the tariff on supercaldered or glossy paper from the mill from 18% to just under 5.5%, according to the CBC.

The Irving mill and others across canada were hit with the stiff tariff by the Americans who were going after Port Hawkesbury Paper in Nova Scotia because of a government bailout there.
