A site in Bayer’s Lake has been chosen for a new community outpatient centre…part of the redevelopment of the Q-E II. The new centre is expected to be more convenient for those who don’t want to go downtown for such services as blood collection, X-rays or visits to specialists.
Premier McNeil says the site behind the Homeoutfitters and Marshall’s stores was determined to be the best place for the new health centre because of the growth in Clayton Park west and the convergence of Highways 102 and 103.
