Officials say the threat of spring flooding in the province contiunues to abate.
EMO says ice cover on the St. John River is gone so the risk of ice jams is over. The river is above flood stage in the Jemseg area but not high enough to cover roads or threaten homes. The river should be below flood stage in the Fredericton area by Friday.
