RCMP say they are conducting a criminal investigation into the fire in South Rawdon earlier this week that left a 27 year old woman dead.
They have not released the name of the woman whose body was found in a burned out garage. Two children in the nearby house were rescued unharmed. The Major Crime Unit is investigating.
