The city has announced its new new vision for the Moncton of the future, according to CBC.
It wants to see young millennials living in the downtown core, a car-less lifestyle and more green space along the Petitcodiac.
Senior city planner Sébastien Arcand says this has been a long time in the making but recent developments have helped including the new events centre, creation of Downing Street…and even the surfers riding the tidal bore have helped create an interest in downtown.
