There should be more money coming from Ottawa soon for affordable housing in the Saint John area.
Federal minister Dominic Leblanc was in the city yesterday speaking about the Trudeau government pledging $11 billion more for affordable housing over 11 years. He didn’t have any details to offer about projects here…but said he’ll be back in a couple of week with specifics.
Dan Murphy, executive director of the NB Non-profit Housing Association says there are 1,248 individuals on the waiting list for affordable housing in Saint John.
