The College of Physicians and Surgeons has reprimanded a former Glace Bay doctor.
Dr. David Soussou said he prescribed very large amounts of opioids to his patients as he was closing his practise because he was afraid they would be left without their painkillers as he was unable to find a replacement doctor.
Soussou is no longer licensed to practice in Nova Scotia and has left the province.
