He’s known simply as Coach by pretty well everyone who grew up playing hockey in Glace Bay. Now Nick Bonnar is being honoured with the Campy Crawford Award for his contributions to minor hockey.
Bonnar has coached hockey and baseball for a combined total of 48 years. His teams have gone to 18 national championships and has been involved in numerous community projects over the years, including his own Walk with Nick program to promote healthier living.
