Acadians want ridings redrawn before election

The head of the Acadian Federation has again called on Premier McNeil to delay calling an election until new Acadian riding boundaries are drawn.

Marie-Claude Rioux says voting before they are in place would open a Pandora’s Box, legally and constitutionally. She wants the former ridings restored before an election or the Federation will go to court.  She also said the Federation wants a more formal process to decide the boundaries within the next two years.
