Sussex Mayor Marc Thorne says provincial taxpayer’s will cover a 700 thousand dollar rehab project for Leonard Drive.
That provincially-owned street has the hospital, two schools; and an RCMP station, along with the 8th Hussars Sports Centre.
Thorne added that Leonard Drive is in sad shape, with open or no ditches; and the asphalt has completely failed.
1.2 kilometres of Leonard and connecting Eveleigh Street will get underground storm sewer infrastructure, along with curb and gutter work.
