There are strict new rules governing private colleges in the province when it comes to job prospects, according to CBC.
Before enrolling in certain programs at some private colleges, students must sign letters acknowledging they may have to move away to find a job…or that they don’t really need the course to get a job in their chosen line of work. The government has told one college to tell new students in two of its programs that job prospects are poor in the Maritimes for graduates.
