The Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation has announced it was one of two charities in Nova Scotia who received Imagine Canada Standard accreditation this year. It’s awarded to charities and non-profits who demonstrate excellence across 73 standards in five areas of operation: board governance, financial accountability and transparency, fundraising, staff management and volunteer involvement.
