Irving Shipbuilding has awarded Rosborough Boats a $7.3 million contract.
The Nova Scotia builder will make two of their Rough Water Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats for each of the six Arctic and Offshore Patrol Ships being built at the Halifax Shipyard. These small boats are used when deploying boarding parties. They can also be used a fast rescue boat or to tow lifeboats.
