Expect Traffic Disruptions for Halifax St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that there may be traffic delays in downtown Halifax tomorrow, during the 10th annual Saint Patrick’s Day parade. The parade will follow a new route this year. Beginning at 1 p.m., parade participants will leave the parking lot at Pier 21, and proceed north on Terminal Road, turning right onto Lower Water Street through Irishtown, and continue along Water Street as far as Historic Properties. The event is expected to wrap up around 1:45 p.m.
