A man arrested this week in connection with three holdups at Scotia Square and in the west end is also facing charges in connection with other recent robberies.
29 year old Anthony James Guitard was caught by a security guard after a holdup of the Griffin Smoke shop on Mumford Road.
Guitard has been charged with five armed robberies and two attempted robbieries since the middle of last month.
