There was something strange coming out of the taps in a small community northwest of Edmonton…bright pink water.
The town was doing a weekly wash of filters using potassium permanganate…which turns water pink in large quantities…and some got into the distribution pipes. Health officials say the water was safe to drink…just colourful.
