Inverness MLA Allan MacMaster is renewing the push to transfer ownership of the Belle Cote Beach Road. It was transferred to the province by the federal government two years ago, and is under the Department of Natural Resources. Work needs to be done, but the Department of Transportation says it can’t do it until it owns the road. MacMaster wants DNR to make the transfer to DOT.
