There was a fight at a playoff game in the New Brunswick Hockey league Saturday night at the Lord Beaverbrook Arena with video of it going viral. The difference is that in this fight, one of the players went over the glass to get at fans.
It apparently began with a penalty call and some heckling then the player went up into the stabnds to get at his tormenters.
Two police officers were already at the Arena and they called for backup as they moved in to break up the fight. No charges have been laid but the police investigation is continuing. The League is also investigating.
