A Nova Scotia man has been committed to stand trial on four charges stemming from a fatal single-vehicle crash in Inverness County.
On Friday morning in Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court a judge ruled that a jury could convict 22-year-old Scott Nicholas Lundrigan, based on the available evidence.
Lundrigan has been charged with impaired driving causing death, impaired driving causing bodily harm, dangerous driving causing death, and dangerous driving causing bodily harm.
Nineteen-year-old James Daniel Poirier died in the crash on Route 19 in Newtown in October 2015.
