The White House is standing by Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
He has finally recused himself from the investigation into Russian meddling in the U-S election after it was reported he met with the Russian ambassador twice while he was working on the Trump election campaign. He didn’t disclose that fact during his conffirmation hearings in the senate.
Both Democrats and some Republicans say Sessions has to resign as attorney general…but President Trump called it a total witch hunt.
