A number of power outages affected more than 1,300 homes and businesses in the province yesterday morning.
The biggest, about a thousand customers, were without power in the Salisbury, Riverglade, Upper Coverdale, Colpitts Settlement area. Another outage affected roughly 350 homes on the Acadian Penninsula. The outages were caused by damage to the NB Power lines.
