Resource Development critic Ross Wetmore says the $2 million set aside is “chump change”, and figures the threat of an infestation will cost hundreds of millions. Natural Resources Minister Rick Doucet accused him of fearmongering, and mentioned the plan to target 150,000 hectares with insecticide.
