A former paramedic has been sentenced to 20 months in jail on 3 sex-related charges involving children.
45 year old Todd Allen Sawler, of Nine Mile River, pleaded guilty last summer to internet luring and child porn counts. The 20 months is in addition to the time he has spent in custody since his guilty plea. Sawler was arrested after police posed as teenage girls on line and set up a meeting with him at a Halifax hotel.
