Almost 30% of nurses in the province have been physically abused while doing their job.
The Nurses Union conducted a survey of its members and found nurses reporting they had been punched, slapped, kicked,or otherwise abused while carrying out their daily duties, according to the Daily Gleaner. 73% said they were the victim of verbal abuse.
