A Saint John city worker was nearly burried alive by falling snow on Friday. The worker was shovelling out doorways at the City Market around 7am when a large buildup of snow came crashing off the roof. He was flattened by the fall and completely burried with only his face free from the giant pile of snow. Workers at the Saint John City Market and another nearby business frantically dug the man free. The worker suffered only minor injuries but was taken to hospital as a precaution.
