An Ontario man will be sentenced Friday after pleadng guilty yesterday to drug charges.
29 year old James Clare Pihura admitted in court to leading police on a highway chase on the Trans-Canada last week that ended in Moncton.
RCMP had pulled him over in a routine traffic stop but then he took off and the chase began. It ended at a gas bar on Horsman Road at Berry Mills Road. He pleaded guilty to fleeing police in a vehicle, possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking, and weapons charges.
