The IWK is warning people about a scam by con artists who have been going door to door claiming to be raising money on behalf of the children’s hospital.
Two men and a woman were reported canvassing a neighbourhood in Dartmouth Friday saying they were collecting donations by cash or credit card, for the IWK. They apparently wore clothing with the hospital’s logo. The IWK hospital foundation says it does not conduct door-to-door fundraisers.
