The province will invest $5 million this year to start repairs and renovations to the Memramcook Institute. That’s part of $25 million total over three years. Founded in 1864 as Collège Saint-Joseph, it’s served as a college, university, seminary and beyond. It was an Acadian pioneer, and the largest employer in the village.
