Private college students sue for free tuitions

Three students in the Moncton area have filed notice they will be suing the provincial government over the free tuition program, according to CBC.

They go to private colleges which are not eligible for the bursary grants. Two of the students attend Oulton College and the other Crandall University.

They say limiting the free tuitions to public universities and colleges is a violation of the rights of students at private institutions. Students whose families have a gross income of $60,000 or less are eligible.
