Two Snowmobile Deaths in New Brunswick on Friday

Two people died in separate snow mobile accidents in New Brunswick on Friday. RCMP say two people were thrown from a snowmobile that lost control on a groomed trail near the Mactaquac Provincial Park shortly after 10pm. The passenger, a 52-year-old woman from Lower Kingsclear, was taken to hospital but later died from her injuries. The driver was not seriously injured. Earlier on Friday, a 49-year-old Campbellton man died after crashing his snowmobile near Sugerloaf Provincial Park in Atholville. RCMP say it appears the man lost control, went over an embankment and landed in a stream. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
