Two violent Halifax men have been charged with assaulting Dennis Oland while he was imprisoned at the Atlantic Institution in Renous, New Brunswick, last summer.
Oland is free now after his murder conviction was overturned and a new trial ordered.
Cody Alexander Muise and Aaron Marriott have been charged with attacking Oland at the end of July. They’ll be back in court in Miramichi next month. Muise is serving life for first degree murder while Marriott has a 15 year sentence for attempted murder.
