Another school needs to be replaced

Another Moncton area school will have to be closed because the estimated cost of repairs is too high, according to the Times and Transcript.

The Anglophone East School District is looking at replacing Salisbury Elementary School. The decision now is whether to also close Salisbury Middle and JMA Armstrong High schools which share the same building, and built a new, larger school to accomodate all students from the village.

It’s the same process underway in Moncton with Bessborough School which is too costly to repair. Officials have to decide whether to just replace it or merge with Hillcrest school.
