The Red Cross is helping three residents of an apartment building with emergency lodging and supplies after a fire Wednesday evening on the east side.
The flames erupted in the kitchen around 7:00 forcing evacuation of the 12 unit apartment building on Coldbrook Crescent.
Nobody was hurt and residents of the other apartments were allowed to return after a brief evacuation.
