Conviction of Saskatchewan man who killed a New Brunswicker upheld

The Saskatchewan Court of Appeal has upheld the conviction of a man whose vehicle fatally struck a New Brunswick woman acting as flag person at a highway construction zone. It was the first day on the job for Ashley Sawn Richards in 2012 when she was hit by Keith Dunford’s SUV.

The Appeal Court said the trial court judge made no errors in the verdict or sentence of just under two years.
