The Labour department is investigating the death of a lobster fisherman off southwest Nova Scotia on the weekend.
44 year old Jimmy Buchanan was working on a boat southeast of Cape Sable Island when he went overboard. The crew got him back aboard and performed CPR without success.
RCMP say there’s nothing suspicious about Buchanan’s death and it’s now been turned over to the Labour Department to investigate.
