Chairlift Problems

An electrical issue with a chairlift left dozens of skiers up in the air at a New Brunswick ski resort.

Fire crews had to use ropes and harnesses to get some of the skiers down before operators at the Crabbe Mountain resort north of Fredericton were able to get an auxiliary engine running.

Some of those who were stranded reported being very cold, but there were no injuries.

The hill will be open today but skiers and snowboarders will have to use the T-Bar until the chairlift is fixed.
