Rally for Ellen’s Law

A rally was held yesterday in Saint John to push for “Ellen’s Law” in New Brunswick.

The rally was organized by friends and family of competitive cyclist Ellen Watters who died Wednesday as a result of injuries she sustained after being struck by a vehicle while training on her bike near Sussex just before Christmas.

People at the rally called for the province to enact a law to keep motorists at least a metre away when passing cyclists on the roads.
