Bacteria levels won’t be an issue during tomorrow’s 23rd annual Herring Cove Polar Bear Dip.
Halifax Water had turned off ultra-violet lights used in the wastewater treatment process as part of a pilot project, but has turned them back on.
Bacteria levels are within the swimming guidelines.
