Sentencing for sexual exploitation delayed

A sentencing hearing for a teacher and youth pastor for sexually exploiting two teenage boys has been delayed.

34 year old Ryan hachey of Rothesay was in court yesterday to be sentenced by it wasn’t clear whether one of the boys wanted to file a victim impact statement. So the judge adjourned things until later today.

Hachey pleaded guilty last month to two counts of sexual exploitation. He’s facing a minimum of one year in jail.

The first victim was abused while Hachey was a church volunteer in the Kennebecasis valley. The second was a student in the Sussex area.
