Refugee group touts how Chester bakery benefitted after rule changes

A Nova Scotia refugee group says Ruwad Al Badin a good example of how Canadians can benefit from refugees.

Al Badin is a specialist in French pastries, which is just the kind of employee that Julien’s bakery in Chester needed after a federal rule change made it harder to import chefs from France.

He is now supporting his family and helping the rural business that had been struggling keep local people employed.
