Another adjournment in Shephard jail assault case

Marissa Shephard has been given a third adjournment in her assault case.  The woman facing a first-degree murder and arson trial in Moncton is being held at the New Brunswick Women’s Correctional Centre in Miramichi.  She’s accused of a summer assault on a correctional officer, and was to elect and plead today.  Her lawyer wanted more time to review disclosure, and she’s due back in court next month.
