A boil water order for parts of Saint John has been lifted. The order to boil water affecting 18 streets on the East side of Saint John had been issued on Tuesday after century-and-half-old pipe burst. After reviewing water samples the city of Saint John issued a news release Saturday night lifting the boil water order. Residents who may have been away during the order or not used their water are being advised to run their taps to flush out any of the suspect old water still in the pipes.
