Suspicious Powder Prompts Heavy Emergency Response at Halifax Post Office

Suspicious white powder on a conveyor belt sparked a heavy police and emergency response at the Almon Street Post Office in Halifax on Saturday. A mail sorter contacted police just before 10am after spotting the powder. Police and fire crews responded but forensic investigators soon determined the substance was in fact protein powder.
