Cyber security research money for UNB

UNB is getting $200,000 from Ottawa to help its dean of computer science work as a Canada Research Chair in Cybersecurity.

Ali Ghorbani has a seven year term to develop ways to identify cyberthreats and cybercriminal activity. He says he’ll be able to expand his research program, attract more graduate students and research associates, and increase collaborations with the cybersecurity industry.
