Parents and students won’t be taking this lying down.
There were rallies by students in support of teachers yesterday in different parts of the province and there’ll be more today at various schools. There will also be protests at province House. One this morning is planned by the group Students for Teachers. Then another will be held this afternoon by Nova Scotia Parents for Teachers which scoffs at the pronouncement by Casey that she was closing schools as a safety issue.
